The Squeeze
Добавлен 1 дек 2022
When life gives you lemons, what do you do with them? Over here at The Squeeze-we talk about it-"it" being our mental health and well being. Host Taylor Lautner's (no, not that guy, but she is married to that guy) introduction to mental health was at a young age, witnessing friends and family suffer in ways she couldn't fully understand. She started a nursing career in the peak of the pandemic and has been struggling with her own mental health ever since. Tay is joined by co-host, husband Taylor Lautner, in addition to celebrity and expert guests to further the conversation surrounding mental wellness. At the end of the day, we're all pretty similar; even those living in the lime-est of lights can be weighed down by sour lemons. In addition to sharing coping strategies and stories, we hope that above all, this podcast offers the comfort of knowing you are not alone.

I always say that every episode I watch is my favorite but Holy moly this episode was so inspiring and eye opening. Thank you to Angel and both Taylor's for such wonderful content and for always caring about people and their mental help ❤ Us lemon drops love you!
I’m already crying. Twitch is still so loved 🥺
☹️❤️🩹
Cameron, the world is a better place because of you, I know I’d didn’t know Cameron personally but, I saw how much his family loved/love him, and he is so amazing, I miss you, we all miss you, you are my life, rest in peace,
Anyone who says Angel and Nick didn't do anything or care about Aaron really need to watch this interview. It makes my blood boil to read comments like they knew what happened behind closed doors. I remember seeing pics of aaron with beer on yahoo groups(shows how old i am since aaron was a year older than me). I always knew it had to start off very young. It's not easy when someone has mental issues..i have family members who have this on my mother's side. My own mother has it. Taylor said it best..there's only so much you can do for someone.
I think that’s such an important note in this. A lot of times mental health issues will stem from something - esp before the addiction occurs. Here being the sexual abuse of three siblings, and then the addictions that followed. It’s also so evident that when you put in the work to heal, you will change your future.
Omg I lovedddddd this episode!!!! Love her so much!!!
1st time watching you’re guys podcast. I’m in love gonna go watch them all!! Angel is such a BEAUTIFUL SOUL GOD BLESS HER! ❤❤❤❤
I'm proud of Angel that she keeps going ahead and doing well, thanks for sharing your story Angel! This really impacts me but I'm glad than Angel is doing okay with her family, with her life, she's a strong, smart and independent woman who knows what she wants in her life.
Hola mi amigo Taylor Yo sé que tú contarás pero la película no se sabe nada
Aiy the frog in her through needs to come out!! Uhg.
Thank you angel for your first interview ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing this tragic story... And thank you for your podcasts.🫶 I am from Russia. I am learning English for 10 years but today I've learned a new word BOUNDARIES 🫠
Unsubscribing. Lost my trust in you Taylor. Inviting this absolutely evil woman who supports what lsraeI is doing to PaIestinian kids.
Lost respect for you guys. I used to watch all your episodes but you've platformed this soulless woman after the vile things she's posted online. Will be my last time supporting this podcast.
God i miss my niece . Madison was such a sweetheart.
I had released 2 albums that month
They made a joke about birkin bags ..... ????? I was confused so donatella sent me a gift that I had delivered to nicki minaj
You have no idea
This interview makes me feel relieved
Chicken scratch 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes Nia ❤
Thank you so much for bringing Angel to this platform. I'm so proud of her for being able to share her journey with us. It's so important for everyone to hear her perspective.
Emma Myers is one the coolest person.
Yes this is so calming episode nia she is my favorites person in the world 🩵
A few months before Aaron died he was doing a live on tiktok and I messaged him that his last album Love is amazing and underrated. He actually noticed and said thank you for saying that he worked really hard on that album😢 that tiny little interaction was really cool for me and I’ll never forget it. Rest in peace Aaron.
Investigate when Aaron went to that Hollywood party where He was Touched!....
So sad
Music business... Enough said.
Hearing this makes me hurt so much. My younger brother passed away 6 years ago and I still blame myself for everything. I wish I could change so many things. I wish it had been me and not him
I am sorry for your loss. You need to find a way to make Peace with it. The truth is You can't go back in time to change anything...and beating yourself up over it will drive you nuts, it will steal your joy and happiness. It is unfortunate that he died, but You had no control over it. You only have control over yourself. You are still alive, and you need to live and enjoy. I spent years doing the same as You...just being alive but not living. It's been 14 years for me, and some days, I still think if I had done something different, we would have a different outcome.
It wasn’t your fault ❤
@@DeeDeeMe I thank you for your kind words and I too am sorry for any and all losses you have had to endure. This is something that I struggle with daily. It has cost me more than I am willing to admit but not my sobriety because I feel that would be so disrespectful to his memory and I can’t disappoint him anymore than I already have. I wish this pain on no one ever.
I feel her pain, it was sad watching him, RIP
So sad. It shouldn't have happened. The music business is a cruel emotional rollercoaster taking to many beautiful lives. RIP Nick Carter.
It's Aaron who died not nick
This is the truth right here. I hate hearing stuff like “he was his own worst enemy.” If Aaron’s people want to honour his legacy, they’ve got to identify and fight the REAL enemy.
He was a victim. He's the 1st just Bieber. Hollywood destroyed him inside and out. RIP Aaron. So sad dude.
That's some pretty shitty fake crying. She doesn't even have red eyes.
I love you Angel Conrad. I love that Aaron Carter with his yellow shirt in 2000's he's my favorite little Aaron Carter and Aaron's Party Come Get It is my favorite one too. So sorry for the loss ❤
That last album he was supposed to release was so deep.
You guys did everything you could for him. I saw him on live about a month before he passed, and even I begged him to get clean before it was too late. He couldn’t even admit he had a problem.
When I know Nicks age better than his sister 😂 I have problems 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I’ve always admired Angel, such a strong person.💕
She has such a sweet gentle spirit!
Team Georgia!
I know for a fact I lived with family that has mental health issues but I broke that cycle it's hard but my remedy now as a mom wife is putting God first therapy and surrounding yourself with healthy relationships
Loved this. Open. Honest. No shame in my game. Weight lifted off. Saying how you feel xx .all important take homes. Thanks for sharing your journey ❤
Croak croak
I always knew that Angel is the wiser and mature one since the House of Carters era. I love how she took the role as the peacemaker, always hugged it out and handled things well. Love to see the woman she has become now and I hope that Nick and her keep their relationship close and always be there for each other. The story is heartbreaking yet inspiring for us all especially the ones who are going through similar things. She's such a strong and inspiring human being.
This is my first time listening to this podcast. The women interviewing was extremely difficult to listen to and really had very little to add to the conversation. When she asked Angel what was there hardest thing mentally she ever had to deal with, Angels face and response was exactly what I was thinking. Angel it’s been amazing to watch you open up and tell your families story. As someone who grew up listening to both Aaron and the Backstreet Boys , we all feel like we have been apart of your family . Breaks my heart to see all that you all have had to go thru while we seemingly had no idea. It’s truly beautiful how you have turned all of this into such a positive legacy to it all.
nick interview pls
I would’ve said Bridge to Terabithia too. It was what came to my brain.
Psychology or Scientology
The carter family had the money power and influence to save Aaron they could’ve gotten him 5150 if they wanted to and they didn’t I know I contacted as many people as possible. The doctors that he had been on TV with other people he had been on tour with everybody. I thought if I could contact I did and nobody did anything so I don’t look at her in a good way, or her other brother
